IF EVERY SINGLE GRAFFITI WRITER IN THE WORLD STARTED WRITING THE WORD ‘REVOLUTION’ INSTEAD OF THEIR NAME, I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN

Deadcat!

Deadcat is a morbidly humorous comic about, well, a dead cat. I made a big sticker for people to download, print, and tag around wherever. You can print onto normal paper and then wheatpaste it up, or print onto full-size sticker paper.

The Q-R Code on the sticker directs smart-phones to Deadcat’s Facebook page.

Graffiti dump!

The last of what I’ve been hoarding, most of it is very recent.

The price of school politics. I would’ve preferred urban art. Maybe someone should chip it into art, like Vhils (aka Alexandre Farto).

Side of Humanities building.

Molded-people chilling by the steam installation on South Campus. They were plinking from the drops of rain, so I guess they enjoyed the buffer from the steam.

Basketball-Seattle stencil headed past Academic West and East.

My contribution: A sticker-back paper Sharpie’d and then cut with an exacto.

Lagging on graffiti

Been snapping photos as I see them, but then I lose the motivation to post them after my day of classes and homework. I’m cracking the whip and dumping stuff now.

Head crab on Eco building

Headcrab sticker by Chauncey by Academic West.

The Irish Taoist wheatpasted on Chem Building

Wheat-paste-slathered Irish Poet against Miller Market. Above on this cardboard were the words, Would you read my book? (Probably, it looks interesting, especially after the ad):

Friendly, Nameless jellyfish on the Fairhaven side of the Tunnel.

New art by Leeves (sp?), who has also done the Cerebrus puppy, and a few other things around campus. (Fairhaven Tunnel)

[Details]:

Tree Art

I was walking on campus and noticed some hanging pieces on the trees by Old Main. Here is all the art I saw. (Really good stuff, too—art major, maybe?).

[Detail]:

This is what I felt like at WWU during (the) Election Week(s). People’s faces and empty promises duct taped all over campus, and the maintenance crews painted over one of the most beautiful stencils on campus—a flower.

More and more urban art

Wheatpaste on the “stairs to nowhere” sculpture. You could see a “full” face at a particular distance on another set of stairs. Has been since removed.

A series of images with the rock-towers in the steam installment near the Fairhaven Tunnel:

Stickers in front of the Cobra Lounge:

Stencils, Part 2

Harry Potter below the VU. Since erased.

Possibly Gogol Bordello? Also below VU and erased.

Stay Puft Man. All over campus, so this could’ve been anywhere, and it’s probably still up.

Marilyn Monroe. I heard there was a green-toned version that looks like Medusa.

Squid is all over campus. This was near Parks Hall.

Uncle Sam was hanging around campus as well.

Amazing, just about waist-height stencil at the Fairhaven Tunnel. I was sad, because I knew it would be gone soon…it was.
